We Need Your Help to Expand Our Impact
We’re looking for aligned partners to help bring The Aware Educator into more schools across the U.S. and the wider English-speaking world. Your role is simple but powerful: introduce the program to school leaders by setting them up on an intro call with Bob Peck, our co-founder. As a thank-you, we offer 10% commission on any successful program sale that comes through your referral.
If you're a meditation teacher or mindfulness facilitator, there is also an opportunity to lead our Teacher Cohort version of the program. This paid role involves guiding small groups of educators through the experience—pressing play on video modules and holding space after our meditation recordings.
It’s meaningful, heart-centered work that makes a real difference in schools.
What Is It?
The Aware Educator is a multimedia mindfulness training program to help teachers cultivate self-awareness, emotional regulation, and classroom calm. It’s similar to Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Training program, but shorter in length, and designed specifically for schoolteachers.
It is comprised of:
14x Video lessons covering topics like “Mindfulness 101”, “Truly Recognizing Your Students’ Presence” (see below) to enhance the teacher’s own mindfulness practice. Each video references a scientific research study on mindfulness, relevant to the topic. Every study video is 2-7 minutes in length, in order to fit into busy school schedules! Each study video is followed by 2-3 quiz questions.
13x Guided Meditation recordings accompanying each mindfulness concept (5-15 minutes). Each meditation is followed by two corresponding journal prompts. We also include a paperback journal for every teacher involved in the cohort!
5x Classroom ‘Mindful Methods’ that discuss usage for students within a classroom environment, with accompanying Google Slides presentations for teachers to facilitate each practice with their students. (~5 minutes each)
5x Method Traditions videos outlining the cultural tradition from whence the method came. (~1 min each)
Total Content: ~3 hours and 20 minutes
It can be spread out in 6-week to 10-week cohorts depending on each school’s specific need.
